On the Fifth Day of Recipes my true love made for me...

Keeping with the munchies, this next recipe is made and shared by my dear friend Meeghan over @CALIGIRLINASOUTHERNWORLD & CALI GIRL IN A SOUTHERN WORLD BLOG.

This recipe would be a perfect pairing with the previous recipe; Cheese & Charcuterie. Plus, a perfect gift for this holiday season! Let the salivating begin!


Christmas Roasted Rosemary Cashews

Ingredients:

1-1 1/4 lbs raw cashews

2 Tbsp coarsley chopped fresh rosemary

1/2 tsp cayenne

Pinch of Cinnamon

2 tsp dark brown sugar

2 tsp sea salt

1 Tbsp melted butter

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place nuts on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake nuts for about 8-10 minutes until they are warmed through and slightly browned. Meanwhile, combine the rosemary, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt in a large bowl. 

Take the nuts of the oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes.

Melt the butter. Put the nuts in the bowl with the spices and pour butter over them. Toss the warm nuts with the rosemary mixture until the nuts are completely coated. Serve warm or jar for freshness.
